Whistler

Whistler is definitely a place for tourist. It's downtown has a lot of restaurants, shops, and other interesting places. The building is placed neatly and you can see several nice area where you can take a picture.

We decided to try the gondola. Compare to other short timed gondola, this takes about 25 minutes. It is a long long way up. The gondola is quite big and can fit up to 6 people.

Since it is high up you can see 2 different types of scenery. At the beginning you will see a lot of trees and rock. A lot of people stop at the first terminal to do some biking activity.

While moving up, not much you can see. Some parts are covered by heavy fog. and the scenery turns into trees and lots of snow.

At the very top of the mountain, people can do ski and snow boarding. There is also a free tubing available.

Whistler is pretty big, there are a lot of places to go. I personally think the gondola experience is not as great as in banff or Jasper. I do like walking around its downtown area.

There is a fairmont hotel near this place. They have a mini golf available in front of them.
