Van Dusen Botanical Garden

After several days looking at mountains and lakes, we decided to see something different: flower. It is mid of May right now, and I was hoping that we would see a lot of blooming flowers. Unfortunately, I do not see that many. Nevertheless, the garden is beautiful. they change it from a golf course to a garden. almost everything from rocks to plants are brought here. They also provide us with a tour of a garden. The volunteered guide took us around. It is a big garden. Took us 2 hours to get around the area. All plants are named so you know which plant is growing.

The best part of botanical garden in comparison to other fancy attractions is the price. I only need to pay $11 to enjoy my day. They also have a small cafe and benches all over the gardens.

When you entered the garden, you will see a large pond. The entrance was impressive. it was created to look like an orchid. It is not a typical square building.

The waterfalls are man made. the water is recycled back so it is a closed loop.

This part of the garden is the best looking scenery at that time. A lot of people stay there to take a picture and draw.

The most fun and amazing part of the garden is the maze. I was too afraid to try it since my sense of direction is very bad. Put me in a straight road, I can get lost. I'm not going to take a chance to get lost forever in this maze. No idea how many hours will it take for me to get out.

The most ancient watch of all time: sun watch. It was made in a very cool and artistic fashion. I am really impressed that it actually shows an accurate time.

Somewhere out there in the middle of garden. Cannot remember where.
